The Frankfurt Group & Holdings, or simply "The Frankfurt Group", is a conglomerate holding company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, that oversees and manages a number of subsidiary companies - it is a financially endowed business vehicle that specializes in the investment and acquisition of special interests, particularly those in the travel, marketing, and entertainment industries. Established in January 2009, The Frankfurt Group's film finance and development entity (also known as Brown & Stretic) works with film producers to create independent motion pictures for global audiences. Brown & Stretic also works closely with independent and studio distribution subsidiaries to distribute finished projects (whether the project was financed by Brown & Stretic or not). In addition to investing its own capital (a delta fund of nearly a quarter of a million dollars), Brown & Stretic raises financing for its film projects through institutional investors, bank gap financing, foreign pre-sales, and state incentives.
